The process permitted Maxwell to work in a heavy, precisely-controlled relief on any appropriate surface, including paper, vinyl, wood or fabric with no size limit; therefore, not restricted to dimensions which characterize most traditional media. A sculptor, painter, & print maker in several other media. Maxwell was vitally interested in art education & produced an art oriented television series. Founded the Contemporary Arts Foundation in Oklahoma City. The artist's monumental wall mural in the Dallas Apparel Mart, fondly called the "Max Wall," used as the backdrop for a major movie, "Logan's Run," set in the 23rd Century. Work exhibited throughout United States & Europe, with pieces in numerous corporate & private collections.
